Celebrating Two Years: Happy Birthday, Marcel Ardani!

This month marks Marcel Ardani’s two year anniversary! As I look back over the years, I am amazed at how far it has come.

The small business I own and operate is very special to me. Marcel Ardani was named after two very important things in my life: Marcel, which is my dear husband’s name, and Ardani, which originates from the name Arad, which is my hometown in Romania, where my husband and I grew up together.

Marcel Ardani was founded with the goal of providing beautiful decor and accessories to people like you. After building our home in Farmington Hills, Michigan, I searched for kitchen and home decor products that would match our elegant, yet minimalistic style.

In the process, many of our friends and family members encouraged me to open my own shop to share my own approach to home decor and design. Since our children are homeschooled, this was the perfect opportunity to be able to work from home and also support them with their schooling.

2020 was one of the most difficult years and had a large impact on Marcel Ardani. The pandemic affected our small business and caused a lot of set-backs and delays. My mom also lost her battle with breast cancer that year. This was particularly hard on me because I wasn’t able to be a part of her funeral service in Romania due to the worldwide epidemic regulations on travel. However, with the Lord’s help through all of the tough times, Marcel Ardani has grown much over the past two years and I am extremely grateful to continue running this small business. Through all of the pretty products I offer on my shop, I want to bring joy to your homes and help you create more precious memories with your loved ones!
