Savory Mushroom and Potato Pie

Ingredients

Dough:

  • 500g potatoes

  • 1 egg

  • 35g butter

  • 100g flour

  • salt

Mushroom Filling:

  • 250g mushrooms

  • 200g onion

  • 100g cream cheese

  • 100g whipping cream

  • 100g cheese

  • 2 tsp spices, salt

Directions:

  1. Boil the potatoes until soft and mash them. Add butter to the hot potatoes and stir. Cool the puree and add the egg. Then pour into the flour.

  2. Grease your preferred pie form with butter. Lay the dough in the mold, forming the bottom and sides.

  3. Cut onions and mushrooms into half-rings and fry in vegetable oil with salt and spices.

  4. Add cream cheese to the mushrooms, pour in whipping cream and cheese. Stir.

  5. Add the filling to the potato pie crust and level it.

  6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes. After, sprinkle with cheese and bake for another 15-20 minutes.
